After the raid, Robert began a new media based project known as TV News which included an array of a dozen specialty media/news related webs. Most Popular is one of Robert's latest projects, where he is working to classify the most popular things by their popularity. That project actually started many years before with Most Popular Websites which after several years took off, resulting in millions of monthly unique page views.
Way back in the early 1990's Robert ran one of the first BBS systems that migrated into a full service ISP with world wide web access. He was the first local ISP to offer unlimited Dial-Up Internet Access for less than $10 per month. He expanded his local Maryland Online Network nationwide as 1internet.us (Number One Internet Services). Another earlier project included a combination of Google and YouTube in what he calls, "GyoogleTube", which was created before Google actually purchased YouTube. As a fan of online video, media and holiday fun, Robert created ChristmasVideos.org and Horror-Movie.net.
Today, Robert is back in the saddle with his latest creation, Search County. This web service combines Rob's skills with tons of public data enabling its visitors to gain quick access to local county information and combines that with custom localized online communities with a home town feel. You see, searchcounty.com not only gives you data for every county in the United States, he also transports you to an individually tailored custom local state and county web portal with online chat, message boards, classified ads, news and more.
As the project unfolds you will begin to see more and more features taking shape. Remember he is the one doing all of the coding work, so its not something he can just spit out in a week. We all look forward to seeing how the project unfolds. Stay tuned!
